We had a wonderful Christmas in Columbia with Wally and Cheryl (aka Granna and Grandy). It is always a relaxing time. They are wonderful hosts. Lillian sure does love her grandparents!!! It is probably safe to say that she is never happier than when she is with her grandparents (on both sides). Seeing her love and enjoyment of them is good for my soul.
Granna always has a fun craft for Lillian to do. It's always ingenious and quite a hit. Note, we often strategically lock Lillian into her highchair for craft time. This is not accidental. :)
Another things we love to do in Columbia is visit the zoo. Our favorite thing is feeding the giraffes. They are so gentle. And beautiful. You can buy lettuce to feed them.
Riding the train is also fun.
Little ham biscuit.
This was perhaps her favorite gift. The Melissa and Doug veggies that velcro together so you can cut them. She literally could do this for hours.
Wally and Cheryl are wonderful gardeners. Wally took Lillian for a tour of the yard.
This is an example of Lillian hugging "Baby Sister". She does this all the time. She initiates it, and it is the sweetest thing.
